Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Ian McFarlane and I am the Principal Consultant with Bespoke Money. I set up Bespoke Money in 2008 with the goal of continually exceeding client expectations in providing friendly and professional independent mortgage advice. I am qualified to provide mortgage advice through obtaining the Financial Planning Certificate and also the Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice with the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland.
We are not tied to any particular lender and work with a comprehensive panel of lenders. This is pretty important at present as over the past few years the mortgage industry has gone through dramatic changes. Lenders are continuously changing their lending criteria and at times funding can be limited.

How do we work
We will work whatever way suits you. We will meet you at a time and place that is convenient for you. The first meeting will allow us to get together and assess your requirements and we can make an initial recommendation to you. We can obtain approval in principle for a mortgage usually within 24 hours. This then gives you the peace of mind that the funding will be available. A mortgage offer is usually issued within 2 weeks. We will then work with you, your solicitor and any other parties involved in the mortgage. Most importantly, you are our client and we shall assist you throughout the process.
We will also review your insurance requirements and we will ensure you have the most suitable and appropriate products for your needs and circumstances from our panel of providers.
